For this meet we will be using a Temporary Holiday Site (THS) hosted by the Somerset District Association of the Camping and Caravanning Club. All those attending will need to be members of the CCC.

Basic facilities include fresh water taps and grey and black water disposal on site. No hook-up. No toilet or shower facilities but Café, visitor centre and toilets at nearby canal. £13 per night payable on arrival by cash or card.

Brassknocker Basin is a scenic location on the Kennet and Avon Canal, known for its boat moorings, cycle hire, and the Angelfish café.

It is situated near the Dundas Aqueduct, which connects the Kennet and Avon Canal with the largely derelict Somerset Coal Canal. It is a historically significant area, with the Dundas Aqueduct being a Scheduled Ancient Monument, highlighting its importance in the region's canal history.

Walk or cycle from the site along the Kennet and Avon canal to the old wool town of Bradford on Avon or Bath. Buses are also available to both destinations.
