We were introduced to this delightful wild camping spot by fellow Murvi Club member Ronnie Leadbitter on our tour of Scotland in 2014. Port Erroll adjoins the village of Cruden Bay on the Aberdeenshire coast about 20 miles north of Aberdeen.

Here the harbour committee are happy for motorhomes to spend up to three nights parked right on the harbour wall. All they ask is for a donation towards the upkeep of the harbour. Click Here for more details.

Just across from the harbour is a wonderful two mile stretch of golden sand and a short walk to the north are the atmospheric ruins of Slains Castle.

A couple of miles further north are the Bullers of Buchan where the cliffs are home to a huge colony of seabirds – guillemots, razorbills, cormorants, puffins….
