EASTNOR DEER PARK (Ledbury) BONGOS & FRIENDS RALLY 20 - 30 SEP 2026
Jill Mcbride has been organising this event for a number of years now and is sharing the details so Murvi members can take part if they wish.
Phone number: 07941 895321. Email: jillygumbo@gmail.com.
I have arranged a rally at Eastnor for Sunday 20 through to Wednesday 30 September 2026 (leaving on 30th) at £12.00 per night per unit. You can stay for as many nights as you wish within that window.
Please contact me if you would like to join us, including the day you will be arriving, and for how many nights. Then I’ll invite you to join the WhatsApp group called “Eastnor 2026 group” with details of how you can send your £20 deposit.
The deposit is non-refundable close to the event if I have confirmed numbers to Eastnor. The Balance (or whole amount) must be paid to the bank direct no later than the end of Tuesday 15 September. Only the deposit may be non-refundable.
You must have your own toilet facilities. Ample water taps and cesspit emptying points are available in every field. No EHU hookups. Take your own rubbish home with you. There are daytime toilets at The Woodshed (cafe). Complimentary fishing included. BBQs and firepits are permitted but must be off the ground with a fire blanket underneath (please move after every use to protect the parkland). The Woodshed Cafe is open 9:30 – 4:00 every day serving take-away hot and cold drinks, ice creams, locally-made cakes and light snacks. There is indoor and outside seating. When the Cafe is open there are toilets and free WiFi available. Excellent walking routes direct from the Deer Park onto the Malverns and into Ledbury. Castle itself may be open to visitors (see website).
Please do not arrive earlier than 12 noon on Sunday 20th nor leave later than 12 noon on the 30th as this is outside the rally group booking period. The gate code will be confirmed closer to the event. I intend to set up camp in Boneyard Field (if available). See the map on the Eastnor Castle website: - Deer Park, Deer Park Campsite and scroll down. The What3Words for the Campsite entrance is wager.honey.organic. Follow the driving directions shown on the Castle Contact page.
Ignore your SatNav – it will bring you down very narrow lanes!
